We are pleased to present a new edition of SAN Magazine – an issue that, in a special way, connects the past and the present, homeland and Canada, culture, identity, and the people who, through their work, creativity, and love for their roots, leave a lasting mark on time.
This issue marks a special moment for us, as we address you with great joy and pride as the new Editors of SAN Magazine. For the past ten years, SAN has accompanied the life of the Serbian community in Canada and around the world, documenting our joys, struggles, achievements, and challenges.
The first official week of Orthodox Christians was celebrated on April 22 at a formal reception at the Ontario Parliament in Queens Park. In addition to representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the gathering was attended by representatives of all other Orthodox communities represented in Ontario.

Toronto's housing crisis has escalated in recent years. It has emerged as a result of multiple factors: population growth, insufficient construction, restrictive urban regulations, rising construction costs, rising interest rates on housing mortgages, as well as a general decline in living standards.
