History and Traditions

The Serbian Legacy Foundation was formed in 2014 with the aim of preserving Serbian history, traditions, and culture. The Foundation reminds us of the best moments in Serbian history, hoping to inspire the generations of the present, as well as the future, in bringing back the dignity and national values which time has repressed or forgotten.

The Slava is the protector of the home – it is the family hearth, a helper in every task, one of God’s great blessings, and the guardian of each member of the household, especially children.
