Miss Canada, vote for Dolores Golijan, a girl of Serbian origin

I am Dolores Golijan and I am a fast-tracked delegate that will be competing for the title of Miss World Canada 2022 on November 13. The competition will be in Toronto (I don't know where exactly because they are still in the process of that, but it will be from November 7-13).

I was born in Vancouver, Canada. but spent 9 wonderful years growing up in Novi Sad, Serbia. I came back to Canada when it was time to go to university, and am now completing a double major in Psychology and Philosophy at the University of British Columbia. My mother is from Subotica, Serbia and my father is from Ilijas (Sarajevo) Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

More information about me: I am 25 years old and I have been a model for over 14 years, where I had a chance to work with amazing desginers and photographers and have done shows at Milan Fashion Week, Serbia Fashion Week and Vancouver Fashion Week. I have also been published in Vogue 5 times

I volunteer for three clubs at my university that focus on mental health, cancer, and promoting healthier masculinity. I also volunteer weekly for 2 crisis lines where I help others that need extra emotional support.

Besides that, I am working on a project "Treasured Chests" for Miss World Canada 2022 that focuses on promoting awareness and resources for women affected by breast cancer. This project is inspired by my mother who is still undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

I am an ambassador for After Breast Cancer, that provides amazing resources for women affected by breast cancer, and they are a Nationwide charity in Canada. I also just finished an interview and have officially become Chair for the Vancouver Hub for Breast Cancer Canada!!

In my free time, my favourite thing to do is to listen to ex-yu rock singers and groups, with Zdravko Colic being my ultimate favourite because I grew up listening to him on a daily basis with my mom.

Fun fact: Tomorrow my interview will be published for rtv vojvodina, which I am really excited about.
