SAN Podcast Episode 01: The History and Traditions of Serbs in Canada and the United States

Serbia is one of the most important pearls of the cultural and historical treasury of the Balkans. On Serbian soil—from prehistory and antiquity to the present day—there have been dramatic and turbulent historical periods, and sometimes tragic events, through which its inhabitants have had to survive.

Starting around 200 years ago, many left their homelands in search of a better life. Wherever they live, Serbs are warm and hospitable, eager to share their cultural heritage with others. Time and again, Serbs have left an enduring mark on the North American continent with their knowledge and work.

Mladen and Kristina speak about the history and traditions of the Serbian people on the North American continent.
