Embracing Blue, Solo Exhibition of Jelena Duma

Through my art, where women, water, and ropes intertwine in a world brushed with shades of blue, I weave a story of connection, resilience, and the quiet power of femininity.
Blue is often seen as the color of melancholy, sadness, or despair. Yet in my work, I aim to shift that narrative—revealing instead its depth, vitality, and emotional flow. Blue becomes a symbol of water: a life force that purifies, renews, and transforms.
Water’s flow is a metaphor for inner strength—it generates energy, powers movement, and shapes landscapes. It is calm yet unstoppable, dynamic, tidal, and vast. This exhibition invites viewers to reflect on that quiet, feminine force—at once gentle and powerful—that moves through us all.
